1. Overview & Governing Law
This Privacy Policy explains what data S8N ("Company," "We," "Us") collects, why, and how it is protected. This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova. Where a User is located in the European Economic Area, We additionally apply the relevant data-subject rights described in Section 9 in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to the extent it applies to Our processing.
2. Our Data Minimization Approach
We do not require account creation and do not maintain a centralized profile of Your name, physical address, or similar identity details. We do, however, collect a limited set of technical and transactional data described below — this data can constitute "personal data" under GDPR and similar laws (see Section 3.2), and we treat it accordingly.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Transaction Data
Payments are processed entirely by independent third-party payment/commerce providers (currently Whop and associated gateways). We do not receive or store Your card number or full payment credentials. We retain:
- An anonymized transaction/receipt ID;
- Purchase timestamp and product purchased;
- Used strictly for license issuance, fraud prevention, and support.
3.2 Technical & Device Data (Software Telemetry)
When You download, activate, or run the Software, We collect data necessary to validate Your license and prevent unauthorized sharing, including:
- A hardware identifier (HWID) or equivalent device fingerprint;
- Basic system configuration (OS version, CPU/GPU identifiers);
- Loader usage and key-activation timestamps;
- Crash/error reports.
We treat HWID and device identifiers as personal data for the purposes of this Policy and applicable law, even though they are not directly tied to Your name. This is a more accurate and protective standard than treating them as fully anonymous.
3.3 Website Data
Our website uses only the cookies/session identifiers strictly necessary for the site and checkout flow to function. Standard web server and CDN (Cloudflare) infrastructure logs — including source IP address, timestamp, and requested URL — are generated automatically as an inherent part of operating a website and receiving DDoS/security protection. We do not additionally log or retain these infrastructure-level IP logs beyond what Our hosting/CDN provider retains under its own standard operational policy, and We do not use them for tracking or profiling.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Issuing, validating, and managing license keys;
- Detecting and preventing license sharing, fraud, and abuse;
- Debugging crashes and improving Software stability;
- Responding to support requests;
- Complying with legal obligations described in Section 8.
We do not sell Your data to third parties, and We do not use Your data for advertising or behavioral profiling.
5. Data Retention
- Transaction/receipt IDs: retained for the duration of the associated license plus a limited period thereafter for fraud/dispute resolution, then deleted or anonymized.
- HWID and technical telemetry: retained only while Your license is active. Upon license expiration or revocation, this data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized within a reasonable period, absent an active fraud investigation or legal hold.
6. How We Protect Your Data
Retained transaction and technical data is stored using encryption in transit and at rest, with access restricted to personnel who require it to operate the Services. No online service can guarantee absolute security; We apply reasonable, industry-standard safeguards and review them periodically.
7. Data Breach Notification
If We become aware of a security incident that results in unauthorized access to personal data covered by this Policy, We will:
- Take reasonable steps to contain and assess the incident;
- Where legally required (including under GDPR Articles 33–34 for EEA Users), notify the competent supervisory authority within the applicable statutory timeframe and notify affected Users without undue delay where the incident is likely to result in a risk to their rights.
8. Disclosure of Information
We do not disclose Your data to third parties except:
- Service providers: infrastructure, hosting, and payment providers who process data on Our behalf under confidentiality obligations, solely to operate the Services;
- Legal process: where compelled by a valid, binding order issued by a court of competent jurisdiction in the Republic of Moldova, or transmitted through an applicable international legal assistance mechanism recognized by Moldova. We evaluate each such request on its merits and will challenge requests We believe are overbroad or unlawful;
- Copyright/IP notices: as described in Our Terms of Service (Section 6), We may disclose the minimum information necessary to respond to a well-founded, properly submitted notice of infringement — this may include disclosing or disabling a license key associated with reported infringing use. We do not categorically exclude game developers, publishers, or anti-cheat providers from submitting such notices.
We do not honor informal data requests that do not follow the process above, regardless of who submits them.
9. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, You have the right to:
- Request access to the data We hold that is associated with Your transaction ID;
- Request correction of inaccurate data;
- Request deletion of Your data, subject to Our legitimate need to retain limited records for fraud prevention or legal compliance;
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise these rights, contact Us via Section 11 with Your transaction ID for verification. Because We do not hold directly identifying information (name, address) by design, verification is based on the transaction ID and any device data associated with it.
10. Cookies
We use only cookies/session identifiers required for the website and checkout to function (e.g., maintaining cart/session state, CSRF protection). We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in Your browser, but parts of the site (including checkout) may stop functioning correctly.
